I rotated around differing teams within surveying/real estate - Started in Business Rates inspection and measuring properties and checking assessments with the Valuation Office Agency (VOA).

Communication and general employability skills have increased massively as you are regularly socialising and attending the office. You will improve technical skills quickly and have a great overall understanding due to experiencing different teams across the sector of real estate.

You have a lot of support on the university side of things and also receive lots of help from JLL both in the office and centrally. We have a dedicated early careers team who look after you during the qualification process, whilst most offices have their own dedicated early careers lead to ensure you gain a rounded experience ready for your final exam.

You have dedicated tutors who are industry experts to guide your academic process and you will also become part of a close-knit community of peers who share your passion. You will have a dedicated support officer who will host 12-weekly catch-ups to check your progress and ensure you feel supported.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I am provided with a direct and practical advantage in my role because the curriculum is so closely aligned with current industry challenges and best practices. I'm not just learning theory; I'm gaining applicable skills that allow me to contribute more effectively and confidently in the workplace.

Yes absolutely. JLL encourages a very active culture with frequent networking, social and team events, community volunteering opportunities and wellness initiatives. There are plenty of ways to connect with colleagues outside of work.
