Yes, I worked on live projects with active deadlines and assisted the team through busy periods. I was often delegated tasks and felt my input was valued with every piece of work I contributed on.

I have learnt a lot of new skills, the most important being communication, how to communicate ideas and points articulately and at the right time. I also improved my organisational skills, as I had to give a report on the work I was given to do, so things couldn't afford to be disorganised so I could always give an account of what I was doing at every given point in time.

I received a lot of guidance and was given a myriad of people I could talk to right off the bat. I was assigned a buddy, an apprentice my age who has been with the company longer than I have. My manager and the Director of my team were very warm and always open to conversation.

Prioritises the comfort of people in the office; there is mutual respect, regardless of your position, high or low. Simultaneously, filled with hard workers who meet deadlines and targets.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, my first proper introduction to the corporate world, and it was the perfect balance of seriousness and hard work, accompanied by networking and social opportunities.
