Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

3/5
in my job role I book custoemr holidays, take payments, online check ins, major and minor amendments, cancellations and help my customers with any queries they have. My non customer facing rolls are to ring open enquiries, ring fx calls, check the diary and see if any actions need doing on existing bookings, look on sst diary and check any 3rd party segments details match the bookings, keep an eye on the shop email, find deals to advertise in our window/chalkboard, I also find deals to post on our facebook and reply to customer comments and messages.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

3/5
I enjoy the programme and I enjoy my job role, I do struggle with the demand of the job and the pressure put on me when I dont achieve my targets. I find this especially hard as I am an apprentice and juggling the stress of both does get hard.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

4/5
My confidence has come along massively in this job role and I have learnt a lot about the travel industry. I have developed my english skills when writing my reflective accounts and I am proud of the work that I produce.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

4/5
In my apprenticeship I feel as though the programme is structured well and efficiently. I feel as though it gets unorganised when it comes to the actual job role and managing time and getting the help I need.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

2/5

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

5/5
My apprentice coach is nothing but supportive and encouraging, I feel as though she always has my best interests at heart and I feel comfortable to discuss any of my worries or concerns.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

4/5
I learn a lot in my apprenticeship that some of my other colleagues don't know, this helps me to provide the best service to my customers.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

3/5
I get to go on days out to meet other apprentices in the region which I enjoy and have made some very good friends from this.
