Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

4/5
My programme is well organised and structured. I plan my workload around monthly commercial cycles such as valuations, cost reporting, and payment deadlines, which helps me prioritise tasks effectively. I keep my work organised by maintaining clear records, tracking actions, and planning ahead for upcoming deliverables. Where priorities change, I adapt my programme accordingly while ensuring key commercial deadlines are met.

5/5
I receive a good level of support from my employer. I am supported by senior team members who are available to provide guidance when required, and I am encouraged to ask questions and develop my commercial knowledge. I am given opportunities to gain experience through increased responsibility, attending cost report meetings, and exposure to different aspects of the commercial function.

I feel that my qualification through my training provider supports me well in performing my role more effectively. The learning links closely to my day-to-day responsibilities as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, particularly in areas such as cost control, commercial awareness, and understanding contractual processes.
