Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

In a day to day i review designs and comments on drawings for new phases, weather thats joists, trusses or windows and then issue them to the appropriate suppliers/contractors, i check documents and upload them to NHBC to clear conditions vital to ensuring a safe and smooth development. I help collate information and issue to the people requesting and juggle site/supplier or contractor queries.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Well understood, teaches me alot about the construction industry and the future in construction. I enjoy the balance or learing in office work, like the above, mixed with attending site and seeing hands on the construction progress and how it looks.

Learnt how to communicate well via emails and remaining professional through out. Taught me a more detail idea on the whole process or completing a development. Taught me how to read drawings.

Freindly team or people to work with, clean and comfortable work environement. Benefit including petrol money, networking/Outing events. occasional dinners such as christmas.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Vistry?
Keep your own files/folders/emails and information well organised and stacked into catergoires, know where things are. Always have a site plan to hand. Have a diary with to plans for each day so things arnt forgotten
