Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I communicate with clients and assist them with day-to-day needs, or treasury questions they may have. I help with preparing material for client meetings and often join client meetings. I am involved with producing a variety of updates and I am on several different teams within the company.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my apprenticeship a lot - both work and college.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many new skills, such as client communication, accounting and finance skills, becoming confident with a Bloomberg terminal, and excel skills.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is well structured, with exams every 6 months and a clear schedule in between.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive a lot of support from my employer. I have regular catch up calls with my line manager and college coach to discuss my progress.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A lot of support - we have regular catch ups and our college tutors are extremely helpful and make it clear they are happy to help us.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Very well - my knowledge I have gained from college helps me at work, as I am able to apply it to the tasks I am doing. As I learn more about accounting, I am able to be involved in more tasks at work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have lots of social events at work. We have gone to bowling, darts, and other activities. Our building holds events too, allowing multiple companies to network. I have also had the oppurtunity to attend multiple professional networking events, including a 2-day conference in Birmingham.

I would recommend Arlingclose as a place to work, as it is a supportive and friendly working environment. I feel supported in both aspects of my apprenticeship - work and college. I have been able to learn many new skills in my role too, and develop my knowledge in a range of different areas.

I would research the company and the qualification to see if you would be well-suited to the role.
