I am currently completing Level 5 professional coaching apprenticeship through priory Healthcare. Although I have not finished I am about to embark on my first coaching experience.
The course is over 15 months long and I have to complete 50 hours of coaching before I become an accredited coach, which will be a massive achievement for me and very exciting. I am extremely grateful to Priory Hemel for believing in me enough to put me through this course and all the support they have given me on the way.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The course has been very intense but worth all the hard work and is stretching me beyond my comfort zone (in a good way). I have loved how the course is structured and the support I have got from my line manager and HD at Priory Hemel is amazing.
IT can be a small issue at times, The programme itself is well organised and learning to be a coach has really helped my self-development in multiple ways.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many new skills and refreshed many of my already existing skills. It has helped me challenge myself to come out of my comfort zone and opened my mind to a world of possibilities and gained greater in-depth knowledge of myself. I am very enthusiastic about coaching others and really hope I can support them to peel off their layers to be able to self reflect and find their own solutions by unlocking their mind to a world of possibilities and opportunities they may have put barriers up to.

The structure and organisation of the programme is brilliant. It does take a little time to get used to the online learning portal.

Priory Hemel has been amazing at supporting my coaching journey. I have also had support from other Priory sites to help me find potential coachees'.

I am confident that it will not only help me in leading others at my site with a coaching mindset it will enable me to coach other Priory colleagues at other sites
