Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

5/5
In my coordinator role I help the South region of sites to reach and maintain the Priory goal of 90%+ compliance. I also:
Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with different stakeholders within the business
Resolve queries, investigate complaints and ensure customer service is maintained to a high standard in line with Priory values
Utilise LMS data to monitor Mandatory training
Report non-attendance
Support the team with project work

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

5/5
I really enjoyed this programme. I would rate this apprenticeship high from the company used for my apprenticeship (Lifetime), to the learning coach made available for any questions I had, and support for my EPA.
The company I work for, my department and Line Manager were all very supportive and of me doing the apprenticeship and allowed me to have the protected time needed to complete work and achieve a distinction grade.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

5/5
I have learnt many new skills and have developed many of my existing skills that include:
- Communication
- Project Management
- External Factors
- Stakeholder engagement
- Presentation Skills

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

5/5
The programme was very well organised and structured. I found Aptem very easy to use and I was able to Navigate where I was in the programme and what needed to be done and by what date. It also had lots of extra resources that I could access, and an easy messaging system if I wanted to speak to my Learning Coach.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

5/5
My employer was very supportive and they want their employees to have the opportunities to develop themselves. My Team and Line Manager gave me all the opportunities and protected time that I needed to excel in my work.
They encouraged me and celebrated me when I achieved my distinction grade.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

5/5
The training provider - especially my Learning Coach - was amazing. The Support from my learning coach was great and very approachable. I had regular progress meetings and was able to do teaching sessions with them if I had any gaps in my knowledge.
I had access to 1 hour webinars monthly, which were very useful and made me think about the impact some of the things discussed had on my organisation.
I was given lots of revision materials so I felt very comfortable going into my EPA.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

5/5
This helps me to perform better in my role as it has taught me more about my company and how it operates and internal/external things that affect the company.
I have been able to learn more about project management which has helped with projects I'm involved in, which has enabled me to meet my goals.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

2/5
Not that I was made aware of

Yes

Why?

It is a company that wants their staff to develop, and gives them the opportunity to do so. Working for the head office shows me how much the company cares about both the patient and its staff members, and the work they do to keep both satisfied.

Have a goal in mind about where you want your career to go (even if it is just staying in your current role). Priory will help you get there.
