Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

To efficiently & effectively manage the day to day activities of all mobile engineers to ensure that the team are adhering to health and safety legislation and producing the highest quality of work within the specific time frames, in line with service level agreements. To ensure customers expectations are managed.
Managing a team of 14 mobile technicians throughout England and Wales. Dealing with daily clocking’s, authorising overtime and holidays. Allocating jobs to the correct tech and area. Dealing with key customers and the techs allocated – including recharge items, grievances, regulator meetings and compliance. Continuously monitoring work in progress. Carry out various reports. Supply information to higher members of staff. Organise training for various equipment / vehicles being worked on. Follow budgets. This role also includes the duties of a service controller as/when required.
