Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

So I get to work, start at 8 and come into the office to focus on my maths then after about half an hour maybe an hour I will go and put my overalls on, open my toolbox and ask my supervisor for a job and if there isn’t. I’ll find myself a brush and clean the workshop or empty the workshop bins.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I’ve learnt a lot since being at NRG. All thanks to my mentor. He’s taught me a lot of stuff, the correct way to do the job and all of his techniques of doing the job. I came to NRG only knowing what a truck was and now I can fix them. Since coming to NRG my confidence has boosted with doing jobs on my own and afterwards I ask my mentor to check my work.
