Upsell products and protections to customers as well as delivering cars to corporate customers
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, by the end of my internship i was asked if i wanted to work for the out of hours team when returning to uni. i would cover the Wirral, Chester and north wales by myself some evenings

Resilience is the biggest skill i learnt followed by how to read people as i was dealing with a variety of people every day

Very little, the teams i worked in were very close but it felt that everyone was out for themselves

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
They dangle the carrot of promotions and advertise how quickly it is to get promotions to senior positions. The pay is very poor for the hours which are worked which results in people quitting very regularly which is the only reason (lower level) promotions are available so often.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
very little. on paper a great company to work for but in reality there's very little to enjoy when you arrice to work at 7:30am and leave between 7pm and 8pm

You need to have resilience however also know when it's time to leave. it's important to not let your quality of life be effected by work
