Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Performing audit and accountancy services for Charities and other Non-Profits. Working alongside different teams to gain a vast range of methods and experiences, and meeting great charitable partners.
As we enter more senior roles, we aid in training the more junior auditors which allows an enriching experience to give back.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Very educational and hands-on. We get to work with many different people/teams and learn lots of different aspects of Charity audit.

Originally the promotions were based solely on timeline of our contract rather than merit, it recently changed to merit-based which adds extra incentive to perform well and i think is for the best.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

We work in a very supporting team/environment with great office culture. Never any concern when considering asking for help or additional training etc.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Catch ups with our managers allow us time to go over where our weaker area in our studies may be, and they support help as they are aware the balance can be tricky.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Lots of the exam content assists in the Audit sector.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Many social activities that cover a range of things - casual, more formal etc. They also offer opportunities for more senior trainees to join some of the Partners when attending conferences or lectures for when having a trainee perspective is useful.
