I really enjoy being at Rickard Luckin. It has a great team who support and help train apprentices.

Yes I have learnt lots about accounting and audit and also improved skills such as communication, planning and time management
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well organised. We have a clear plan on when to sit the exams for the ACA qualification and also know the dates when to be in college for study which is really beneficial to passing the exams.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Lots! Managers and seniors are always there to lend a hand when completing jobs. The people team are always there to speak to when issues arise.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A lot, as mentioned above first intuition set days where we attend college and give us all sorts of resources to help prepare us for the exams. They are always there to message over email if further support is needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think the training provider is very helpful in providing the theory behind ideas which we will use in our work. Also the preparing us to pass the exams. However I feel I gain most of my improvement by actually completing the jobs at work as I can apply it to real life scenarios. Also for me I find I learn best by actually completing the tasks and going through these with other team members.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, RL set up a lot of social events which I try to attend to increase my relationship with team members. There are sport activities such as golf days and world cup on sea (7 a side football tournament)

Why?
I really enjoy the culture of Rickard Luckin. There is a friendly and supportive environment which has really helped me learn a lot since being employed here. The firm gets you started on jobs straight away to learn and improve, there are always team members to give support and are very open to do this.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Rickard Luckin?
Make sure you are prepared to put the work in for the exams as they are difficult. Make sure you give accounting and audit a try as both are really beneficial for improvement.
