Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

My day to day role includes serving customers and following the processes necessary to rent vehicles. I also have responsibility for clearing debt, maintaining vehicle safety and providing excellent customer service, etc.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, during my placement I have been given a different project each month which becomes my full responsibility. For example, my project for Vehicle Operations ensured that vehicles with damage were repaired immediately and that preventive maintenance was completed when due.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

In enterprise there is so much support and guidance available. Within my placement I travelled to Scotland for training 5 times which helped develop my knowledge of the business. Furthermore the team in every branch are so supportive and helpful.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

So positive! Everyone wants to have fun and have positive experiences at work. The atmosphere has been incredibly positive and warm.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I really enjoyed my placement. I was expecting a much slower paced job where I would just be helping out. My placement has led to me being a valued member of the team who contributes just as much as higher managers. This really surprised and excited me as it showed just how much Enterprise invest in you from day one.
