I was a Quality and Governance Apprentice working within highly engineered HVAC systems for energy and nuclear projects. My role involved supporting the implementation and maintenance of quality processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
On a day-to-day basis, I assisted with reviewing documentation, managing quality records such as calibration registers, and supporting audits and inspections. I helped track non-conformances, ensure corrective and preventive actions are completed, and liaise with project teams to maintain quality compliance across multiple projects.
The role also involved continuous improvement activities, identifying gaps in processes, and supporting the development and rollout of quality tools and systems to enhance consistency.

Yes, there were various activities I was able to be a part of, such as tennis events, Horse racing events, etc.
