My role involves preparing working papers, testing financial information, liaising with clients to obtain supporting documentation.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my programme. Sayer Vincent provides a range of opportunities to learn and develop, and from the second year we are given the change to lead audit engagements, which is rewarding.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I have developed a range of new skills and strengthened existing ones. In particular, I have improved my analytical skills through reviewing financial information, as well as my attention to detail when preparing working papers. I have also developed my communication skills by liaising with clients and working closely with team members.

This programme is well structured and organised. There is a clear progression in terms of responsibilities and learning.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a good level of support from Sayer Vincent. There is always guidance available from managers and seniors, and I feel comfortable asking questions when needed.

Yes there are a range of social activities in Sayer Vincent. Sayer Vincent has also organised talks from external speakers, such as one from the Bank of England, which was very interesting and insightful.
