Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Managing the products across a range of portfolios. Responsibilities included aligning stakeholders for updates on the products, managing customer booking tools and working in the live environment of business operations ensuring that hardware was working the way it should for our employees in rental branches.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given more than expected with responsibility and ownership of areas of product management.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I have greatly developed in my time management as I was given responsibility to manage my time to complete my tasks. I also significantly improved my confidence from the start of my placement. I have had the chance to meet a large new range of business stakeholders and learn how to build good relationships with them.

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

Support and guidance was always available throughout my working day. I would have weekly catch ups scheduled with my line manager and also with my mentor. Every day there was someone available in person or online to give guidance and support when I needed it.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Great company culture and 'open door' culture was clearly visible. If you needed anything, no matter seniority, you could count on anyone helping you with questions. Everyone was working for the better of the company and collective not the individual.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

Thoroughly enjoyed my placement and time spent at Enterprise. I think this is due to the team culture and acceptance, no one treats you as just the intern but instead you are part of the team as a full employee.
