Reviewing and negotiating build and development contracts

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Made me think into the responsibilities of my role and the impact this has on the business.
It also highlighted my improvement in confidence, knowledge and skills since starting my role showing how much my learning has impacted my personal development.

I have improved my skills and understanding on the legal aspect of my role by learning the terminology and layout of the varied types of contracts.

I received a timetable of when all the webinars were booked in and when my assignments were due. This helped me to work around my day to day job responsibilities.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

I was able to take time out at the end of the week to focus on my studies as well as completing this when my work load was lighter at times

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I had regular catch ups with my tutor who assisted with making my deadlines more flexible based on out of work impacts. My tutor was also very helpful in the lead up to my exams and we had multiple run throughs to help me prepare for each one.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It makes me more aware of the impact of small things such as types of communication which is important in my role due to speaking with varied stakeholders. It also highlights the improvements I have made in since starting which helps with my overall confidence in my role.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I have attended and will attend more networking events, Visty also hold summer/Christmas parties as well as outings where different teams can get involved.
