Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

So my day to day business operations role, this involves procurement, client relations, communication with the sales team, billing and invoicing. This is a role where I can learn and continually improve my knowledge and along side this I do my Level 4 apprenticeship in APM Project Management.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Yes, I enjoy both my BAU job and my apprenticeship a lot, there is a good balance between the two.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Definitely, I have learnt through my apprenticeship all the principles of project management which I have taken to apply in my day to day role in procurement coordination in particular client communication.

Very well, my teacher prepares and plans the schedule well so I have a good structure in place.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

The support from the employer is very good as well, I am allowed the time that I need to carry out my work when required and supported from other colleagues.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Yes, I receive a lot of support whenever I need questions, I am able to have answers swiftly from my teacher.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Definitely, they are interchangeable which I really enjoy.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, we play golf together outside work and we are due to get a dartboard soon.

It is a really nice place to work, everyone is friendly and there is a real team spirit here.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to ITRM Ltd?
Definitely do it, any role you can get, and the company really supports promotion from within so it is a good long term venture in my opinion.
