Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

In my day-to-day role, I act as the strategic lead for site growth, balancing the management of my L&D team and technical trainers with the hands-on design and delivery of engaging training sessions and essential safety inductions. I spend a significant portion of my time conducting training needs analyses and talent reviews to identify skills gaps and "high-potential" colleagues, while providing direct coaching to site managers to help them develop their own teams. I collaborate closely with the Senior HR Business Partner and site leadership to ensure our learning strategy directly hits our business KPIs, all while managing the L&D budget and overseeing apprentice programs and local school partnerships. To keep the site audit-ready and improving, I maintain meticulous training records, analyse performance metrics to evaluate our program's impact, and constantly research emerging L&D trends to ensure our culture remains one of continuous innovation and development.
