Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

5/5
I plan software solutions, manage and automate infrastructure deployments and create tools that other software engineers use. Furthermore I code features in C# with blazor, VB, AngularJS and sql

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

5/5
I love my program here I see strong growth and learning and get exposed to leaders in industry that allows for further growth. The atmosphere is relaxed but still the problems are challenging and the company will push you as much as you want to push yourself.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

5/5
People skills, Coding skills, Software Architectural skills, System design and Managing Infrastructure.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

4/5
Honestly there is not that much structure in my program at all but I like it that way It gave me time to find my feet and made me realise that no one was going to hold my hand through any job and that I'd have to figure it out myself which was a valuable lesson to learn.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

5/5
I frequently speak to software leads, software architects and management who all provide me invaluable advice both personally and professionally.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

5/5
I get a day off on every Friday to contribute towards my university work which is all I need really.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

3/5
Honestly the qualification is a bit of a joke but a degree is a degree and I learn more on the job anyways. Not the Employers fault (Hence the 3) but still the program really is a bit useless.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

4/5
They are offered although I don't take them or interact with the social side
