Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role involves dealing with customer questions and issues with our software. I answer multiple phone calls a day (10+) and respond to emails to ensure that customers are happy and confident using our software.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme was good and I was able to do a lot of practical work in the job - however there was quite a lot of reading and writing that I had to do which I enjoyed less.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a lot from my Apprenticeship with how business works, how the company works and how customer service works. I learnt digital skills using websites and gained skills using software to help our customers.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme was well structured with a set amount of tasks that I had to do. There was a roadmap drawn out so that I could see what I had ahead of me.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I received the necessary support from the employer - this included giving me time off the job to work on my assignments.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I always received responses from my tutor who was always able to help.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I believe that it helped with professionalism and has helped me improve how I talk to customers. I have learnt what is good to say and what not to say.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have a pool table and a darts board in the canteen, although I do not use these.
