Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Accounting assistant who is heavily involved in the transactional processes of the business both AR and AP as well as moving more and more into the management accounting focused month end tasks allowing more room for analysis and increased understanding of the bigger picture.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my role quite a lot as it is always challenging with new things to learn and pick up which allows me to grow within the role. It is very nicely complimented with my course working in unison to mold my knowledge and understanding.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many new skills since beginning this apprenticeship and been able to build on the ones I had learnt on my previous one. Some of these would include core knowledge in finance and accountancy which has allowed me to pick up more responsibility at work as well as a larger focus on leadership which will benefit me in the future.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

I believe it is pretty well organised as I have regular meetings with my tutor to ensure I am on track at all times so I could not fall too far behind.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Klipboard give me everything I could need to succeed providing the time for me to do enough work to ensure that I pass more exams and then also giving me work which will tie in to the module I am working on at the time.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive plenty of support from my training provider including individual work tailored to how I am getting on and what I am getting on with.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification goes hand in hand with my role at work as it is perfectly supplementing my background knowledge while I get real world experience in the office.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are lots of social opportunities to get involved in to engage with colleagues and meet new employees who you may have only spoken with online or maybe have never interacted with before.

Klipboard provides a fantastic opportunity for growth and development as we are a rapidly expanding business with more and more opportunity becoming available as we grow. We are investing heavily in growing people so that they can improve and help the team, this is done by providing apprenticeships and courses to ambitious individuals.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Klipboard?
I would say it is important to come in with a willing to learn and an open mind as it is something that most new apprentices would not have experienced before. Ask lots of questions as there is so much knowledge in the business that you can learn from.
