Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I support insolvency cases on a day‑to‑day basis and assist with preparing annual reports and VAT returns. I also help with investigations into cases by reviewing company information and records. I have supported the appointment of liquidators and administrators by preparing documentation and assisting with case setup. Alongside this, I carry out general administrative tasks to help ensure cases run smoothly.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy working in Insolvency as there are many areas of training and development to be involved in such as all different stages to a case, pre-appointment, post-appointment and also closure. It's also beneficial to see side of things like going out on site and gaining a perspective of the people and the employees of whom you are doing work to benefit.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I've learned many skills and development such as confidence with taking calls and excel skills. Additionally, learning at college with many definitions and theories that help and are transferrable into my day-to-day job.

The qualification links well with the work I do in insolvency and helps reinforce practical experience with technical knowledge. It has improved my understanding of processes and increased my confidence when working on cases.
