Overall, how would you describe your experience at PKF Smith Cooper?
Overall, my experience at PKF Smith Cooper has been very positive. The firm has a friendly and welcoming culture, and I’ve had the opportunity to work on a wide range of interesting and varied assignments, which has helped me develop strong technical and commercial skills.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
My role involves researching potential purchasers, carrying out financial analysis, drafting information memoranda and preparing pitch materials. Although I am a junior member of the team, I am regularly given the opportunity to contribute during pitches, which has been extremely valuable.

When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to PKF Smith Cooper?
I would recommend researching the firm and role beforehand and being prepared to demonstrate a genuine interest in the work PKF Smith Cooper does. Throughout the recruitment and onboarding process, everyone was very approachable and supportive, so my advice would be to ask questions, be yourself, and show enthusiasm to learn. Taking advantage of the support offered early on really helps you settle in quickly.
