Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Day to day I get involved in related tasks which will benefit me in my learning and development. My team encourages the importance of getting a broad understanding so I regularly do shadowing and visits to other parts of the business to expand my knowledge in the business.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I really enjoy my programme, I have a lot of support through people in the business so I feel comfortable even though I don't know everything.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learned lots of new skills, but the skills I have developed I keep on developing each day.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Very. I have dedicated time to study as well as constant support during these times. I have regular catch ups with those on the apprenticeship team to see how I'm getting on, if I have any concerns or need any extra support. I also am kept in the loop with the progress of my apprenticeship so I know where I am.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive lots of support throughout the business. I have regular catch ups with the apprenticeship team to see if there's any concerns and to see how I'm getting on. My line manager is kept in the loop so I know I have support in my closer team.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I have regular check ups and reviews with my training provider which my line manager also attends. This helps as I then get day to day support in terms of my apprenticeship.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
We always find practical ways our lessons can be applied in my job roll. This way I can constantly improve.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There is many opportunities to get involved in as apprentices, networking events, site visits, international women's day events, black history month events e.c.t. There is always events going on in the buisness, and apprentices are heavily encouraged to get involved.
