Completing invoices, understanding new software's, updating documents and presenting new ideas to senior management.

Yes, I was given the opportunity to be an ambassador as well as being given the opportunity to be the lead on one of my projects.

I had incredible support from my line manager, the site manager and also the Next Generation Talent Team during the whole of my placement.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Everyone was welcoming and helpful, my site was particularly friendly and I felt part of the team as soon as I joined the business. There is strong community culture within the Next Generation Talent Cohort and everyone supported each other during apprenticeships, placements and graduate schemes.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I really enjoyed my placement year, I felt that I developed in many ways during the 12 months I was at DHL. I didn't know much about Supply Chain and Logistics going into my placement but It is something I would now consider as a potential career path to explore.

Yes

What advice would you give to others applying to DHL

Be yourself, you will learn and develop during your time at DHL so going in your do not need to know everything. Be open to opportunities that are presented and confident in your own personal skills.
