I am an Assistant Accountant within Enabling Functions – Finance (Shared Services), supporting the accurate delivery of month‑end reporting and the maintenance of key financial controls. My role involves preparing and reviewing bank and balance sheet reconciliations, posting journals, and supporting monthly reporting and HFM submissions to ensure financial data is complete, accurate, and compliant with internal controls. I act as a liaison between Finance and wider business stakeholders to investigate and resolve queries, while adhering to established finance processes and audit requirements. Alongside my core responsibilities, I provide ad‑hoc analysis and actively develop my technical skills while working towards professional qualification.
