I deliver innovation, functionality, cost-effectiveness and brand integrity through our packaging developments to support Premier’s strategic goals. We manage data thoroughly and support day-to-day administration through various systems.

Yes, I had no idea how intricate packaging development was and how it has opened a world of jobs for me in engineering / molecular science and marketing

I believe that there is a clear structure and balance between university and work as they allow you to complete a range of tasks that are relevant for your course to ensure that all modules are covered.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My team are very supportive and how we function as a department is key bonus while working at premier foods and the push on being your authentic self
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My university allow clear flexibility and understanding when it comes to coursework as they understand the difficulty in both roles.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps me with my day to day work and trials, the course has helped me have a higher appreciation for my role and stakeholders. The main takeaway is that the course allows me to understand why a pack fails and the potential fixes to help the trial be a success.

The people, the people I work with are the most supportive and encouraging people I have met and such a breath of fresh air to have when coming into work
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Premier Foods?
Be yourself, cliche yes, but honestly the employer would want to see how you fit into the team and your behaviour towards the role, not a corporate shell. Just try it!
