Day to day organisation and logistics to ensure jobs go ahead. Ensuring materials and tools are available and programming jobs. Requesting permits are put in place correctly.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have really enjoyed my position so far, I'm very grateful for the opportunity I have been given to expand my knowledge and become a supervisor.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Having not worked in the civils industry before I started my position with very little knowledge, I have been given the opportunity to develop my knowledge through experience, training and my level 4 course.
I have been also been able to hone my management and organisational skills through experience managing a team.

There is very little structure to my own personal apprenticeship. There is structure to the early careers programme though.

I have found that my qualification has focused more on construction sites, however some of the knowledge I have learnt has been useful to civils.

There are some vents that you are able to take place in but no regular activities to take part in with co-workers.
