Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
The apprenticeship was for a Level 2 Urban Driver - this was so that I could become a gritter driver - working adhoc during the winter (October to April). One week on call and one week off. Only driving when the temperatures were low.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
The apprenticeship was very well structured and well delivered by Learning Group

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I learned how to drive an LGV. It also ensured that I plan my driving routes - which is useful for non-gritting driving. It gave me an appreciation of the difficulties of driving large vehicles with their reduced visibility and manoeuvrability.
