My role involves completing maintenance activities on plant and equipment.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my programme and the knowledge as well as skills which it enables me to acquire and develop.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Existing skills which I have developed include my communication skills and being able to multitask effectively which are essential for this job role. New skills which I have learnt include effective dexterity, a practical, systematic and logical way of thinking, and the understanding of mechanical and electrical principles in conjunction.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is relatively well organised and structured however, sometimes it struggles to adhere to the administrative side of my apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

In my current role as a Reliability Engineer (Apprentice) I receive extremely effective support from my manager who is always forward regarding job and activity opportunities for my learning and development.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider is excellent at providing support when is necessary and the healthy network which they provide and have established makes me feel confident when working towards my qualifications.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification which I am working towards is directly relevant to my job role as it contains the electrical and mechanical principles which all of the engineering and maintenance activities I complete involve, and this enables me to have a stronger understanding of the work I complete and perform better in my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
