As a quantity surveyor, I manage costs on construction projects. I estimate budgets, track spending, and handle contracts. Each day I check progress, measure work, price materials, and speak with contractors and clients. My role ensures projects stay within budget and deliver value while solving financial issues during the building process
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme a lot. Each day I learn new skills and build my understanding through practical tasks and teamwork. I like solving problems and developing knowledge that will help in my future career. The course is interesting and engaging, and it motivates me to keep improving and doing my best

Yes, I have learnt new skills and developed existing ones. I have improved my understanding of cost estimating, budgeting, and measuring work. I have also built better communication and teamwork skills, and gained confidence using industry tools. Overall, I feel more prepared and capable in my quantity surveying work.
