Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My typical work day include working on a variety of different estimating tenders, ranging from small scale extensions to RC frames. I have also been exposed to live project QSing recently and have been completing payment applications, raising contract variations and managing contracts for a subcontractor based in Leicestershire.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am thoroughly enjoying my degree apprenticeship with AG Surveying and believe it offers the best of both worlds: completing a university degree whilst gaining valuable real-world experience. Every team member has been incredibly supportive throughout the last two years.

The university course is closely linked to your job role, particularly as you progress through the programme.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

The majority of teams members (especially apprentices) take part in extra-curricular activities, such as badminton and 5-a-side football weekly. AG Surveying also organises team events every 6 months which are always a good laugh.
