My role in CGI’s Change Management team is to make sure business changes are managed correctly and progress smoothly through the required governance process. On a day-to-day basis, I work with stakeholders to ensure changes are understood, properly coordinated and delivered in a way that meets business needs while keeping everyone informed and aligned. I also maintain control of the administrative side of business change, including tracking, documentation, governance activities and ensuring each change is progressed accurately and in line with process.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme can be stressful and fast moving at times but stress aside it is an enjoyable role with lots of helpful and kind people surrounding you.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed several important skills that have supported my performance in Change Management. I have gained stronger experience in professional bid writing, improved my understanding of governance processes and developed my Excel skills to better manage tracking, reporting and administrative activities. I have also strengthened my communication and stakeholder management skills through regular engagement with stakeholders, helping to ensure business changes are clearly communicated, well coordinated and progressed effectively through the required processes.
