Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I process payments for purchase ledger invoices and approve sub-contract payments. I process payment runs and deal with queries. Alongside this I work with the buying team to help raise orders and general day to day procurement activities, this links with my apprenticeship and will help me gain knowledge and experience.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Really enjoy it. I am coming to the end of my apprenticeship and am interested in starting the Level 4.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt lots of knew skills. Having worked in payments for 9 years, I took an interest in procurement so have learnt a lot about this, both from my apprenticeship and from working with the buying team

How well organised/structured is your programme?

very organised. I have a timetable and several check in meetings to make sure I am okay and up to date.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Vistry support me a lot. My team have been very helpful and the buying team have gone above and beyond to give me experience and let me learn from them.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

CIPS are very helpful. Nothing seems like a problem and they are very considerate. I would definitely recommend

CIPS have given me a lot of knowledge, this helps me put it into practice at Vistry.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, we have several team building activities throughout the year. It is a great team environment.
