4/5
As a PMO Consultant within CGI’s South and Midlands PMO Hub, I co-ordinate partner onboarding, continuous existing process improvement and compliance activities supporting client programmes as well as the Bid Team. My key responsibilities include partner vetting, onboarding, joiner mover leaver (JML) management, data bug fixation, bid management and automation/innovation of existing processes using a variety of technical tools such as Power Automate, ResourceIT and Python.
I also contribute to SOX bill rate controls, ensuring that governance, accuracy and compliance remain consistent across teams. This requires stakeholder engagement, analytical problem solving and technical aptitude. My position therefore aligns strongly with CGI’s strategic priorities of digital transformation, quality assurance as well as client satisfaction

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend CGI to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Yes, I would recommend CGI to a friend. The company provides a supportive and collaborative working environment, with strong opportunities for learning and professional development across a variety of teams and sectors. From my experience, there is a real emphasis on trust, responsibility and recognising individual contributions, which makes it a positive place to grow your career. Additionally, the balance ad emphasis put on separating University Study time and work while simultaneously combining what is learnt at Uni with work is great.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to CGI?
Be your authentic self while combining that with an ideal candidate. Remember to seem inquisitive and ready to learn. You are not expected to know everything but instead be willing to learn everything. Remember to ask questions at the end of your interview in order to show your passion and genuine interest for the role. Finally, deeply research the ins and outs of the company to differentiate you from others.
