Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My day to day can vary as it depends on what needs doing and wether or not it's a crane day.
On a slow day, I could be doing anything from fitting and fixing the internal walls or tidying up around the area we're working in on site.
On a fast paced day, is usually when a cranes on site. Then you could be doing anything from moving and lifting external walls panels or lifting and landing a fully built roof to wrapping the external membrane and fitting the fire stops.
So every day is different but not at the same time.

How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I personally think we receive a lot of support from the company and the people involved in creating the apprenticeship. They really want you to succeed and they don't just put you in the deep end and expect you to just know what to do. They check in and if your struggling you can just send them a message or quick call.

5/5
From what I've seen there's a lot of them, I have yet to participate in them but I'm eager to get involved.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Vistry to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Because they've been really supportive and they took a chance on me when I didn't think anyone would. They care about their people and their development.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Vistry?
Just be yourself and be honest about what you can do, and who you are as a person. Prepare and know information about the company and what they do, but don't worry if they ask a question and you don't know the answer because they don't expect you to know everything just the basics.
