Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

On a day to day basis I will have control of delivery notes, recharges, bank reconciliation and debtors tracking. I also do Daily reporting and maintenance of departments KPI’s.
I also work on the Indirect and Direct Temporary labor reconciliations which involves communicating with agencies and various other people in the plant.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, I was given my own projects and tasks to work on this year. So yes there were times when I was often responsible for things. I do like that I had the opportunity to be autonomous.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I think that my confidence has improved massively, I also feel more comfortable speaking to a wide range of people at all levels.
I am also able to spot problems and trends more easily so I would say my analytical skills are much better.
I also feel more confident using ,Microsoft office especially excel.

Lots, I am very grateful that everyone in my team was supportive of my progress and never made me feel like any of my questions were silly questions. I also was able to pick up a wealth of knowledge from them.

It is Okay. Throughout the year we had different events to bring us all together which was nice.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I enjoyed a lot to be fair, I think i have definitely developed both personally and professionally. There were time that I was challenged which I am grateful for and I have developed and learned so many new skills that will be useful to me in my future.
