Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role involved carrying out the project of compensation events within the structures team. This meant planning and executing projects like vegetation clearance and parapet repair from a smaller scale to larger scales. Day to day would look like respond to emails, liasing with client and sub-contractors and planning the projects.

I have learned many new skills not only through the apprenticeship but also from my co-workers who are always there to answer any questions that i have.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I had clear days for my studying side of the programme with days designated for learning and self studying, while the other days were for my job.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My company and line manager were always there to help and guide me. Also had co-workers who have been through the same route as i was and were able to give guidance and advice
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider was QA and they were very supportive. Always quick with responses to emails or phone calls and always had the correct answers.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think my qualification had acted as it was intended for me, as a baseline, which now i can develop from and learn more skills with more qualifications.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I enjoy some of the socials within my team that we do. We have team building activities on Wednesday at lunch.
