I think they are a great company for new young people to join, many people willing to mentor the younger generation ready to fill the skill shortage gap within the industry
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Balfour Beatty?
If you’ve just finished secondary school and are interested in a career in construction, I’d really recommend looking into a T Level course. It gives you the chance to get hands‑on work experience with companies like Balfour Beatty, which is a great way to start building your network and getting to know people in the industry. By the time you finish your course, you’ll already have contacts within the company and a much stronger chance of securing an interview or even progressing straight into an apprenticeship.
