Personal Assistant within the Colorectal Team , includes :
Manage nurse consultants’ schedules – booking clinics, MDT (multidisciplinary team) meetings
Organise appointments for patients (new referrals, follow-ups, urgent cases)
Handle correspondence – typing clinic letters, discharge summaries, and reports dictated by the team
Maintain patient records – updating systems accurately and confidentially

I improved my organisational skills by managing busy schedules, coordinating appointments, and ensuring clinics run smoothly. I’ve also developed strong communication skills through speaking with patients, consultants, and other departments.
I’ve built my confidence using administrative systems and maintaining accurate patient records.
l I’ve grown both in confidence and efficiency.
