Its been really beneficial and helped me learn new skills around analysing data and presenting it in a clear and concise way so senior management can be more informed.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes I have developed excel skills and use of AI to improve data analysis and presenting data. I have also learnt basic Power BI skills which I can now apply to my role to make more informed decisions.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Really structured, the course is broken down into modules with projects that have to be completed at the end of each module to cement what has been learnt. We get regularly training sessions with knowledgeable coaches.

Balfour Beatty and my line manager is very supportive of my apprenticeship and is aware of the time required to complete project work and attend workshops

My training provider is very supportive. We have group coaching sessions on a monthly basis, quarterly progress reviews and there are opportunities to arrange 1-1 sessions to help with any knowledge gaps
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My apprenticeship has helped me to become more efficient, increased excel skills mean less time is spent manipulating data as I have been able to implement more long term solutions such as using automation. Also the quality of my work has improved by being shown how best to present data in dashboards.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
