Great opportunity to learn the job role whilst working towards my degree at university. Gives me the best of both worlds. I am slowly gaining experience on site, gathering all my civil engineering skills.

There are plenty of University work that transfers over to my job. Including setting out courses etc.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Plenty of social activities, getting to meet members of the company and fellow apprentices at the same role as myself. I am also aware of sports events happening, although i have not signed up for these.

Its a very inclusive company as they always have an answer for your needs, they keep you busy which is a big part of being an apprentice as you want to stay interested.
