Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

The Apprenticeship Facilitator supports and coordinates the delivery of apprenticeship programmes across the Trust. The role involves working closely with Apprenticeship Leads, apprentices, managers and training providers to ensure programmes run smoothly and align with workforce priorities. This includes monitoring apprentice progress, supporting gateways and End‑Point Assessments, maintaining accurate data, and ensuring effective communication between all stakeholders. The role also contributes to apprenticeship promotion, Trust‑wide events and departmental projects, while providing oversight to the Talent for Care Administrator. Overall, the facilitator ensures apprenticeships are well managed, compliant and supportive of staff development across the organisation.

I absolutely love my Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship. It has been an inspiring and empowering experience that has strengthened my confidence, expanded my leadership skills, and given me opportunities to grow both personally and professionally. I genuinely look forward to every part of the journey and feel grateful for the development it continues to offer.

Yes, I’ve developed a wide range of new skills and strengthened many existing ones through my Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship. The programme has significantly boosted my confidence, enhanced my leadership and management abilities, and improved my strategic thinking. It has also helped me refine skills such as communication, problem‑solving, planning and decision‑making. Overall, the apprenticeship has been an incredibly valuable experience that has supported both my personal and professional development.
