Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role on a day to day basis is to complete tasks that I have been shown step by step how to do and support my colleagues in any ways I can. As I've learnt more I have been given more and more advanced tasks that have matched my learning at college so far.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I very much enjoy my programme as although sometimes I can find it tough I have plenty of support from others around me at Bancroft which some have been on the same path as I am on so they can help me with struggles I might have.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt loads of new skills and even developed my existing skills. One for example is my attention to detail. Although I thought i had great attention to detail before I started my apprenticeship with Bancroft I have massively improved it throughout my apprenticeship so far as it is a few important skill for an accountant
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is very structured as I am given not only time for all my work and to complete it but also enough time for my studies especially leading up to exams.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer. Like said above I am given the time loads of time for my studies to make sure I am onto of that. But I am given a lot of support from my colleagues and managers with my studies and work. So if I didn't understand something I could go to them and they could explain it the best they could until i understood it.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I recieve a good amount of support from my training provider. However it can definitely be better as especially from my talent coach I have to wait a long time for replies and support from her.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It definitely helps me perform better as through my studies I learn new things and how to do them. So i can then take on new and unique work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There isn't much sports or professional events for normal workers. But Bancroft try to do a few social events for the whole company. For example we have a day in May for the whole company to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the company.

Why?
I would definitely recommend Bancroft to a friend or anyone because everyone is so welcoming especially for someone coming into their first full time role. By everyone being so welcoming definitely has helped me settle in quicker and a lot better.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Bancroft Ltd?
I would tell them to just be themselves and don't be afraid to join into different conversations as it definitely helps you settle in better and helps you get to know your colleagues and vice versa.
