Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Simple audit accounting tasks such as transaction testing, bank review, board minutes review, etc. Sometimes going on site to clients to ask queries in person, or to access physical documents.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The job has been good, easy to settle into and now gradually building up to some more challenging tasks. The college side has been a bit slow in terms of learning.

Work is very well organised and planned far in advance.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

2 month check ins to review any support needed and how things are going. Also had a work "buddy" to start with to help with settling in.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

2 monthly check ins with mentor. Also provides support to any queries sent via email.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Definitely learnt some applicable skills and knowledge but still quite new to the course and due to the courses slow pace not loads.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Lots of social activities available such as Christmas party, audit social chocolate making, non alcoholic drinks tasting, rounders, christmas decoration designing, pancake day.

Why?
Very friendly and supportive team which provides a great working atmosphere. Helpful with questions and supportive of learning in college. Lots of opportunities to get involved in social events, very inclusive and welcoming. Made the transition to working life very smooth.

Make the right impression at the interview- dress smart, research the position and try to get some relevant experience to talk about.
