Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My Job on a day to day basis Involves me coming in and being given a Job, after that I would go on the layout for the Job and search for what Is needed for example what tooling I need etc... this would be given in each OP. Then I would check the QTY of the Part and if everything is okay proceed to the actual Build.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I Deeply appreciate this programme because of the wonderful connections I have made and also, the people who have helped me come out of my shell, to Progress further and further within my Apprenticeship, I now have the confidence that I can go far In my career.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

From having an excellent apprentice manager and having a excellent team leader they have definitely been supportive of me In my education and In my Physical learning. The structure within the apprenticeship has been amazing as I have got many opportunities to work on Big expensive Intricate parts as well as learning theoretically and also learning more about the business at the same time.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Support has always been there whenever I need a problem solving, I can obtain Advice from my team leader as well as my apprentice manager and If no one is there everyone is friendly enough to help out in the best way they can.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Our training Provider teaches us with the basics of engineering and how to conduct ourselves on the Shop floor.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The training provider we have definitely planted the seed and Infrastructure we needed In order to fulfill our role when going back to company . The basics of engineering, health and safety and the behavioural aspects all get taught and they push the forward this narrative that if we want to succeed use our passion and put it into our work ethic.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes there are many Opportunities' to get Involved in events such as the air shows, go to supplier sites and understanding the tooling we are using and going to talks about lean in our company.

Why?
First and foremost, although you gain Immense Knowledge being here at Parker, the confidence within yourself is also built and if you have a passion like I do In engineering they definitely can see it. So this place has no Limits on how far you can go Just believe in yourself and that's all you need to go far.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Parker Meggitt?
I would say don't be afraid to take that Jump, the sky Is truly the Limit, you don't have no Limit to your potential
