Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at JLL?
Very good, still working with the company and a great team, did an internship last summer and got the job off the back of that. It was a good stepping stone into starting work full time.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy going onto site and writing reports that are relevant, project work especially I enjoy.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?
4/5
Started a little slow while a was learning the ropes, however, now I feel I have more responsibility and help colleagues rather than hinder them.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?
4/5
Very good perks and benefits including pension contribution from the company etc. A small signing bonus would have been nice however, to support the first month of work without being paid until the end of the month.
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?
5/5
Very good, what I want to do with my future development and do all different types of work which one may not get elsewhere.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?
4/5
Better at IT especially excel and quicker with it.

Experience & Company Culture

How is the support you receive?
4/5
Very good, work lots with colleagues who explain work and why it is needed well and take time to help me improve and learn.
How is your work-life balance?
4/5
Good, however finishing at 5:30 mean getting home 6:20 earliest and this means a late dinner if not meal prepped on the weekend. This makes evenings short and not a lot of free time.
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?
4/5
Everyone is nice and most people work from the office more than not. However, working from home occasionally is not frowned upon.
How would you rate JLL initiatives when it comes to equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility?
4/5
Good, however would not know much about this.
How would you rate JLL CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives?
4/5
Lots of fundraising for charity which is good with 2 volunteer days a year for charity.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend JLL to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Because of the culture around with the employees and people what to talk to each other and help each other for the majority.
How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?
5/5
Having done internship this made it easier to know what to expect.
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to JLL?
Apply, the onboarding can be a long process but worth it. Get training done when you don't have much work as the work will pick up.
