Overall, how would you describe your experience at Balfour Beatty?
A very positive introduction to the working environment. I felt very supported in my role and development. There were periods where I was pushed to reach my potential, but also periods where I possibly needed more support.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Integrating sustainability into what we buy and how we buy it. I work closely with the procurement team to embed sustainability into our systems and processes.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

How is the support you receive?

I didn't have a buddy, which I think would have been helpful as I was quite isolated in Leeds at the start of my grad role. However, the support from my line manager, mentor and wider team have been exceptional.
How is your work-life balance?

Having the ability to work from home is a great benefit. It allows me to have a good work/life balance
